Olmstead’s Release

1.5 oz
A whiskey distilled from a grain mash that contains at least 51% rye, a grass and member of the wheat tribe 'Triticeae.'
0.75 oz
A French quinquina aperitif wine produced from 85% Bordeaux rosé wines and 15% macerated liqueurs, giving the wine a grapefruit like taste.
0.25 oz
An American version of a violet liqueur with added ingredients, made from parma violet petals with blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, cassis, honey, orange peel and vanilla. Often thought of as a good violette liqueur substitute but the two differ grately.
0.25 oz
An Italian amaro made with saffron, anise, clove, gentian, orange peel and violet; 32% ABV.
2 dash
A concentrated aromatic bitters made in Trinidad from water, ethanol, gentian and other herbs and spices; used in many classic cocktails like the Manhattan.
1 twist
A yellow citrus fruit. The peel is often used as a garnish while the juice incorporated into the drink for a tart flavor profile (citric acid).

Stir all the ingredients in a mixing glass over ice. Strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a lemon twist. #stir #straight
