A flavored rum, infused with pineapple. Pineapple rum is commonly used in tropical drinks.
0.75 oz
A mezcal that is unaged or aged in steel vats, keeping its clear appearance. We treat this the same as joven mezcal.
0.5 oz
A grapefruit liqueur (crème de fruits) made from infusion of pink grapefruit zests. 16% ABV
0.5 oz
The second most common juice used in cocktails. This citrus juice is about 6% acid; 4% from citric and 2% from malic, with small amounts of succinic acid (this is what gives it a little bloody taste). Lime juice should be used the day it is squeezed, some like it freshly squeezed and others like it a few hours old.
2 oz
A naturally sweetened and carbonated beverage. It can be bought with or without the addition of alcohol, but this depends on which country you live in.
Add all ingredients except ginger beer to a shaker, and shake or flash blend with crushed ice. Add ginger beer to a collins glass, then pour in the shaker contents. Garnish with an orchid. #shake
