The Suspender Cocktail
A Piedmontese Moscato wine base Italian amaro infused with cardoon (similar to artichoke) and blessed thistle; 17% ABV. It is aged for six months in new oak and can be substituted for vermouth or sherry in cocktails.
Known locally as “il Specialino,” this naturally colored Americano is made with Trebbiano wine base infused with a proprietary mix of alpine herbs and spices; 17% ABV.
A full flavoured red-colored sweet Italian vermouth. Try it in a Manhattan or Negroni. Often considered the best vermouth, along with Carpano Antica. We treat this like sweet vermouth.
A sweet and intensly concentrated vinegar used in some cocktails for its tartness, due to the high concentration of acetic acid, and its molasses like sweetness.
An orange colored citrus fruit. Many types of orange make an appearance in cocktails. The peel and juice are equally valuable to diverse cocktails.
Stir all ingredients with ice. Strain into a rocks glass with a large ice cube. Garnish with an orange peel. #stir #ontherocks
