


Vowel Cocktail

Scotch, is malt whisky or grain whisky made in Scotland. Originally made from malted barley, with the addition of wheat and rye. It must be aged for at least 3 years in oak barrels.

Also known as Vermouth di Torino, Italian vermouth, rosso and red vermouth; these vermouth have been sweetened with cane sugar or caramelized sugar, usually giving the vermouth 10-15% sugar and a slightly reddish brown color.
0.5 oz
A citrus juice used in many cocktails, both for its sweet and tart taste and its color. Orange juice, unlike lemon and lime, can be kept fresh for days. In a blind taste test, most people liked day-old orange juice.
0.5 oz
A sweet, colorless liqueur flavored with caraway seed, cumin, and fennel. Originally the word kummel was a somewhat generic term in German, Dutch, and Yiddish meaning both caraway and cumin.
2 dash
A concentrated aromatic bitters made in Trinidad from water, ethanol, gentian and other herbs and spices; used in many classic cocktails like the Manhattan.
Shake with ice until chilled. Strain into a cocktail glass. #shake #straight
